Established in 2002 by Paul and Betty Maugle. Our vineyards are dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England Grown wines. Hand-crafted in small batches to enhance flavors, Maugle Sierra wines are made from premium New England and Estate Connecticut grapes, highlighting Southern Coastal New England's unique Coastal micro-climates from Mystic to Westerly. Simply put, savor a taste of New England with wines to warm the heart.
Our Land and Vineyards
Maugle Sierra Vineyards were established in a 100 +/- acre 1740 farm in Coastal New England. With 11 acres in grape production, it is a must see Rendezvous for visitors. Come to the winery; enjoy a wine flight, purchase wine by the glass, bottle or case. Picnicking with friends on our wine patio or Rendezvous overlook is encouraged with wine purchase.

Nestled in Coastal New England, Maugle Sierra Vineyards is dedicated to producing premium Connecticut and New England grown wines. Dr. Maugle, co-founder and winemaker, is known for his chewy, jammy and intensively fruit forward wines. In 2006, we opened our winery to the public specializing in our Estate St. Croix Wine and our dessert wine “Espíritu de St. Croix” as well as other fine hand-crafted wines. Presently there are 12 wines including several dessert wines to enjoy.
